As a Machine Learning Engineering Intern, you will contribute to the development and improvement of document understanding solutions for healthcare, using cutting-edge techniques such as OCR, vision-to-text multimodal models, and LLMs. You will work alongside experienced engineers, gaining practical experience in solving real-world problems related to document processing.
What You’ll Do
Develop and refine your Python and shell scripting skills.
Learn about and experiment with transformer-based vision and multimodal models like LayoutLM.
Become familiar with PDF processing tools such as PyPDF2 and pdfplumber.
Explore text extraction and structuring tools like Tabula or similar.
Gain practical experience using deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch.
Work in a collaborative team environment and contribute to real-world projects.
